Economics I took AP Macroeconomics my Senior year, so I made some programs to help me do some repetitive homework more quickly. They are all for the TI-83+ since I didn't have my 89 when I made these yet. These are all integrated into each other and each component may be selected by the main program, "ECON." I have not tried them out since my AP Macroeconomics class, so they may have errors. If you do download and use the programs, please leave feedback, suggestions, and corrections on the "Contact Us" page. For some reason, all zip files that I upload become corrupt when downloaded. So, I uploaded the zip file containing all of the Economics programs to MediaFire, and the file is available for download here. Price Elasticity - TI-83/84
This program calculates the price elasticity with the original and final price and quantity inputs and determines whether it the slope is "Elastic," "Unit Elastic," or "Inelastic" GDP - TI-83/84
This program can calculate GDP with the expenditure and/or income approach, and can calculate the GDP deflator, GDP/capita, and can calculate real GDP through the tradition or chained-dollar method.
Consumer Price Index - TI-83/84
This program calculates the consumer price index. It prompts if the quantity is given. If so, it asks for the number of years & products and then some information about each product each year. It returns the CPI and Inflation Rate from the data. Real Interest Rate - TI-83/84
This program calculates the real interest rate from data about inflation and nominal interest rates. It can calculate the inflation rate from CPI if necessary. Real Wage Rate - TI-83/84

This program calculates the price index for a specified amount of years. Economic Growth - TI-83/84
This program calculates the economic growth and real GDP/capita with real GDP and population input for two or more years. MPC/APC - TI-83/84
This program calculates the MPC (marginal propensity to consume) and MPS (marginal propensity to save) as well as the savings.
Multipliers - TI-83/84
This program calculates the various multipliers and offers to calculate the MPC. The multipliers supported include investment, government, tax, and all of them. Labor Participation - TI-83/84
This program calculates the labor participation.
Money - TI-83/84
This program is another listing of programs relating to money. The subprograms include the money multiplier, required reserves, the monetary base, the quantity of money, currency, demand multiplier, and the equation of exchange.
Trade - TI-83/84
This program calculates the terms of trade between two countries. |
